Dear Dave, In the "buyer beware", accept-mediocre-quality evolution of American society in which we seem to live these days, what a pleasant surprise – and treat – to discover Regent Homes! From the beginning, our experience with you and your friendly staff was different than what other buyers talk about. You truly make the building experience personal! It felt like we were planning something special with old friends that really listened to how we envisioned our home. You were completely flexible when we expressed a few changes and your own extra touches are way beyond anything any other builder does. Once again, I want to point out that our son-in-law is management level at another large local building company. He actually laughed when we first told him that we were optimistic about Regent Homes following up with all the details we discussed, both before our purchase and after living in our home for several months. *The following is a letter written by one of our homeowners to another builder they were considering before deciding on Regent Homes.* You asked who we chose as a builder for our next home. We selected Regent Homes but, quite frankly, we chose the owner of Regent Homes Dave Brown. The craftsman style home that Dave builds appealed to our design needs. However, style was not the most important thing to Sharon and I. What matters most is that we were going to get a quality product, at an affordable price from a builder we knew we could rely on throughout the process. With all of our moves over the past 7 years, we have lived in quite a few different homes (this will be our 5th home in 7 years). Every home that we have owned has been brand new but we have never built a home before. I knew the first time we met Dave that he was a person we could trust. This year I celebrated my 23rd year in the profession of sales and if there is one thing I've learned from those 23 years of experience...it's that service matters. The one thing that I have always expected from the representatives that I have managed over the years is that they provide unparalleled service to their customers. Customer service is a lost art in the sales/service industry. Given our current economy, that's the one thing, you would think companies would try to get right in order to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Instead, service is at an all-time low in America to the point that when you receive "good" service it stands out. The few times when you're lucky enough to receive "outstanding" service you really feel and appreciate it. Dave's attention to detail and his follow-up have been impeccable. I appreciate his no-nonsense approach and the fact that he's not interested in becoming the largest builder in Central Ohio but rather he is focused on delivering outstanding customer service and a quality product. As you can see, I don't take my purchase decisions lightly.
